Steve e eu entramos numa dessas lojinhas de artigos importados da China. Artigos que vao desde colheres de madeira ate grandes pecas decorativas. Muita coisa util e muita bugiganga podem confundir a nossa cabeca. Tive a impressao que Steve queria levar alguma coisa. Qualquer coisa. Dai ele pega um desses trecos de acender fogao. Um artefato de plastico que tem uma pequena chama:
"This will be handy."
"Handy, Steve? For what?"
"For the oven and smokes..."
"We have an electrical cooker and you are trying to quit smoking..."
"Oh, right. You bring such a sense of reality. Thank you, baby."
Sense of reality? THAT know is handy for a job hunter one.
